Miami Fabrics was founded with a simple belief: that finding the perfect fabric should feel like a conversation, not a chore. We opened our doors on West 18th Street to give local sewists, designers, and makers a place where quality materials meet genuine expertise.
Our shelves are stocked with carefully selected cottons, linens, silks, wools, and specialty fabrics — each chosen for hand-feel, colorfastness, and durability. Whether you're a first-time quilter or a seasoned costume designer, we'll help you find exactly what your project needs.
We also carry a full range of notions: threads in every color, zippers, buttons, interfacing, patterns, and tools. If you can imagine it, we probably have the supplies to bring it to life.

We carry patterns from major publishers and can help you figure out yardage requirements, sizing, and fabric substitutions.
Hosting a sewing class or group outing? We welcome groups and can prepare materials in advance so everyone gets what they need.
Can't find what you're looking for? We can place special orders for fabrics and supplies not currently in stock. Just ask.
